The Scarabs of Nyarlathotep

From artist Offero Jones, a collection of Egyptian scarabs bearing the glyph of Nyarlathotep. I love props like this that add a subtle Mythos touch to real historical artifacts.

Egyptian scarabs were made from a great many materials such as fired clay, faience, steatite, Libyan glass, and semi-precious and precious hard stone. They were produced for thousands of years and copied by other contemporary cultures as well such as the Phoenicians. The originals and reproductions continue to be wildly popular will collectors and jewelers.
